Modu-Con 2 (MOD2)

The Modu-Con 2 (MOD2) is AMC’s most cost-effective twin-strand conveyor system, designed to streamline material handling in assembly, testing, and production environments. Built for performance and flexibility, MOD2 supports pallet sizes from 8"" to 36"" and can handle loads of up to 2,500 lbs per drive.

In battery manufacturing, the MOD2 excels in transporting sensitive components and subassemblies through various stages of production—from cell assembly and module stacking to final pack testing. Its modular design supports seamless integration with automated systems, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.

Heavy-Duty Conveyor for Battery Modules

The Modu-Con 4 (MOD4) conveyor system is AMC’s high-capacity solution, developed to meet the demands of heavy-duty manufacturing while offering a cost-effective alternative to traditional CDLR (Chain Driven Live Roller) conveyors.

Designed as a robust twin-strand conveyor, the MOD4 can pull up to 22,000 lbs (10,000 kg) on a single drive, with pallet sizes up to 48"" wide. This makes it an ideal platform for transporting large and heavy assemblies such as EV Battery Modules & Packs.

In battery manufacturing, the MOD4 excels in handling heavy module assemblies and packs during precision stages such as welding, testing, or pack assembly, where strength, reliability, and system stability are critical.

In-Line Over/Under Conveyor for Battery Applications

The Modu-Con 5 (MOD5) is a compact, in-line over/under trapped pallet conveyor system, purpose-built for efficient part buffering and machine loading in high-volume manufacturing environments. The MOD5 is increasingly adopted in battery manufacturing due to its space-saving design and robust performance.
Ideal for use as a buffer zone between machining processes or during automated loading/unloading operations, the MOD5 frees up operators to focus on value-added tasks. Its trapped (captive) pallet system automatically returns empty pallets via a lower return feed, eliminating the need for elevators or additional drives—simplifying system complexity and reducing cost.

High-Speed Twin-Strand Conveyor for Battery Assembly

The Modu-Con 6 (MOD6) is AMC’s fastest twin-strand palletized conveyor system, purpose-built for high-efficiency manufacturing environments such as Automotive, Appliance, Electronics, and now increasingly used in battery production lines.

With pallet speeds up to 200 FPM, the MOD6 leverages a unique design where the pallet travels at 2.5x the speed of the chain, making it ideal for short cycle times, fast transfers, and high-throughput applications. It supports pallet sizes from 20"" to 84"" wide, offering flexibility for a wide range of component sizes and processes.

Equipped with a durable plastic roller chain, MOD6 performs reliably across diverse environments—from corrosive industrial settings to sensitive electronics or battery module assembly.

Efficient, Scalable Conveyance for Battery manufacturing

Motorized Driven Rollers (MDR) are self-powered rollers that deliver smart, energy-efficient movement of items along a conveyor line—eliminating the need for pneumatics or mechanical stops. Utilizing low-voltage 24V brushless DC motors, MDR systems operate with Run-On-Demand technology, significantly reducing energy consumption during both active conveyance and accumulation phases.

Engineered for flexibility, MDR systems are zero-pressure zoned accumulation capable, making them ideal for delicate, staged processes in industries like battery manufacturing.
